Bring extra chairs if you've got 'em! I wanted to let you know that we are have a block party on the 200 block of Bedford. It is a pot luck. I invited those on Bedford and Emerald from the 100-200's. Will be held at intersection of Melbourne/Orlin triangle near the intersection of Bedford and Orlin. BYO chair, plate, utensils, beverage, dish to share, and, if you are so inclined, something to grill. There will be a grill available. FOURTH STREET S.E. There will, as always, be an event on 4th St. for residents of 4th St. and Bedford north of University Avenue. Potluck picnic with grills fired up, at 3146 4th Street SE, from 6-9 p.m. It is registered with the city. Julie Wallace EAST RIVER MEWS A National Night Out gathering is planned at East River Mews from 5 to 8 p.m. Residents will meet at the entrance to 851 River Mews Court to share food and get to know each other. (WEST END) Harrison in our neighborhood has done a great job of organizing our event -- it will be in the front of 1717 Franklin.
