COMMUNITY MEETING ON RE-DESIGN OF FRANKLIN AVENUE-EAST RIVER PARKWAY INTERSECTION

The first questions the study will answer is: Does the public think that the intersection need improvement? If so, what's your value with respect to the intersection — pedestrian, bicyclists, etc.: What might be done to improve the intersection? The first community meeting is: Thursday, February 19 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. St. Frances Cabrini Church 1500 Franklin Ave. S.E. Jim Grube, is the Hennepin County contact on this project. They have contracted with SEH, an engineerinn/design/planning firm, to conduct the study. Dan Cornejo, who was the consultant on the 29th Avenue Station Area Plan, is part of the consultant team. According to Jim, the County is working with neighborhoods on this meeting.
